Snohomish County Fire District 1 crews were called to the 400 block of Howell Way in Edmonds about 2:15 p.m. Sunday to rescue a woman from her vehicle after it went over this embankment near the MS Helping Hands store. According to Fire District 1 spokeswoman Leslie Hynes, it took about 45 minutes to get the victim out of the car. Her age and place of residence were not immediately known. The woman was taken to Swedish Edmonds with minor injuries, Hynes said. (Photo courtesy Fire District 1)
