The Alderwood Boys and Girls Club currently is hiring for two positions.

The club is looking for a full-time program director. The job description says: Under the direction of the Unit Director, the Program Director plans, organizes, supervises and coordinates programs and activities that will enhance the personal growth and development of club members. A college degree preferred or equivalent experience necessary to perform the functions of the job. Experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar non-profit organization a plus.

The club also is seeking a part-time Site Director/Van Driver. The job description says: Plan and assist with planning and implementing age appropriate activities, transporting children to and from school, ensure the safety and well-being of the children, ability to work with ages 5-12 years, contribute to the creation of the overall club climate for youth development, provide behavioral guidance services to Club members, general cleaning, and other duties as needed. Prior experience with children in a group setting, licensed child care, curriculum planning, CPR, First Aid, and STARS or MERIT training a plus. The Site Director will be running an after school child care site. They will be expected to interact positively with the kids, plan the curriculum, work closely with school staff, have great communication with parents, and supervise staff.
