Heritage Park hosts a visit from Santa

Santa Claus made a special visit from the North Pole to meet with community members during Heritage Park’s annual Cookies With Santa event Dec. 2.

he stockings were hung by the chimney with care as Santa sat with the young and seniors for a photos and cookies. Mrs. Claus was unable to attend the Lynnwood-Alderwood Manor Heritage Association’s annual event as she had to stay at home to help the elves and feed the reindeer.

Located on the corner of Poplar Way and Alderwood Manor Parkway, Heritage Park is maintained by the City of Lynnwood in partnership with several community organizations, including the Alderwood Manor Heritage Association.

Rescued from destruction during the I-5 interchange construction, Heritage Park showcases several early historical structures, including the 1930s Superintendent’s Cottage and Water Tower, the Humble House, the Wickers Building, and the Interurban Trolley Car #55.
