Heritage Park open house on Saturday features historical buildings and trolley

This Saturday, July 2 is open house at Heritage Park in Lynnwood. All of the buildings will be open from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Guests can tour the trolley as Jeanne and Gary Rodgers will be there to explain all the workings of the trolley. The Lynnwood Alderwood Manor Heritage Association has displays set up in the Cottage. The Visitor Information Center has maps and brochures for open house goers, as well as the free museum upstairs.

Before the open house, the Sno-Isle Genealogical Society will host a beginning genealogy class at 10 a.m. in Humble House, a historical building that will be open to tour or help with family research. This building is also open every Sunday through Labor Day, and will be open on Monday, July 4th.

All of these events are free at Heritage Park in Lynnwood, located at the intersection of Poplar Way and Alderwood Mall Parkway, on Saturday, July 2.
