HomeGoods store opens in one month

A new home decorating store will celebrate its grand opening on Sunday, June 24 at 8 a.m.

HomeGoods will open at the former K&G Superstore at 184th and 33rd, in the same retail center as Ross and Red Robin.

According to its website, “HomeGoods is an off-price home fashions store, providing a tremendous selection of high-quality, unique home fashions, including brand and designer name merchandise at prices that are 20% — 60% less than finer catalog, specialty and department store prices, every day.”

The store offers a selection of rugs, lamps, accent furniture, art, candles, cookware, bedding, bath linens, kids décor and holiday decorations, to name a few.

HomeGoods was founded in 1992 and runs about 375 stores across the U.S. It’s owned by the parent company of T.J. Maxx and Marshalls.
