The Hoopaholics Holiday Hoops camp for boys and girls in grades 1-7 is scheduled for Jan. 2-3 at Edmonds Community College.
The camp will be from 12:30-3:30 p.m. both days and the fee is $90 per player. Players will learn and work on: shooting, footwork, ball handing, triple threat and will participate in game situations. Players should bring water and a snack.
The instructor is Michael Johnson, a four year letterwinner and junior/senior captain at the University of Washington from 1998-2001. Johnson was named the Washington State Gatorade Player of the Year in 1996 and was selected as the USA Today Washington State Player of the Year in 1997. Johnson played professionally in Brazil and coached at Seattle Pacific during the 2002-03 season.
