In loving memory

I don’t normally post stories about myself but today I’m making an exception.

Pictured above is my mom Virginia Murphy in September 2009 (my wife and I are on the right.) That’s when she had a stem cell transplant for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. After a year of a very brave and difficult fight, she passed away last evening.

My mom touched everyone she met and she leaves an incredible legacy, including seven grandchildren.

I hope you’ll forgive me if I don’t update this page as frequently as usual over the next few days.

Thanks for reading.

  1. She was an amazing women. Anyone who new Virginia was touched by her courage, strength and selflessness. She was also an all around nice person.

  2. Michael, my heart goes out to you & your sisters. I have many fond memories of Aunt Virginia and her three greatest blessings. You all have done her proud!

  3. Mike,

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Your mom was so young. I am sure it is comforting to know she had such a wonderful, supportive family. God bless you and your family, and give you all peace.
