Kamiak High School (from Mukilteo School District)

An 18-year-old man was arrested in Lynnwood today for allegedly posting a threat against Kamiak High School on Facebook.

The high school and Harbour Pointe Middle School in Mukilteo went into lock down after officials learned of the posting, part of which read “I’m pulling a Virgina Tech on Kamiak,” an apparent reference to the 2007 shooting incident at the college.

Police arrested the Kamiak graduate in Lynnwood this afternoon and booked him on felony threat charges. They are investigating whether or not it was just a prank.
