Learn about the Citizen Planning Committee at the Edmonds School District’s Superintendent’s Roundtable at noon on March 6.
In existence for more than two decades, the District’s Citizen Planning Committee (CPC) makes recommendations to the School Board on a variety of topics and issues each school year. With representatives from each school community, boundary change proposals and even policy on school uniforms get discussed, debated, and researched.
Coordinated by district staff member Debby Carter, Executive Director of Human Resources, she will provide an overview of the committee, how it works, and how it helps the District fulfill its mission.
The Superintendent’s Roundtable is held noon to 1 p.m. in the Educational Services Center (ESC) office, 20420 68th Avenue West in Lynnwood.
