Looking for a place to watch the Hawks Saturday? We have you covered

After a week off, the Seattle Seahawks will be facing off against the New Orleans Saints in football playoff action Saturday afternoon, and just about everyone will be watching.

If you are lucky enough to be going to the game, here’s a way to avoid the traffic: The Sounder Train will be running from Everett to Seattle, stopping in Edmonds on its way to Century Link Field Saturday. The schedule can be found here.

Or, for those of you that are staying in town but prefer to shout and cheer at the television in good company, here are a few local places that will be showing the game. Go Hawks!

Lynnwood

Big E Ales – 5030 208th St. S.E.
Seahawks game specials all day Saturday. Open 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

Just Left Pub & Grill – 4308 198th St. S.W.
The game will be showing on all 12 of this pub’s TVs, along with happy hour food prices and all Sunday specials. There will also be four special Seahawks drink specials: $4 for 22 oz. domestic drafts, $4 touchdowns for every Seahawks touchdown (normally an $8 drink), $5 off Fireball and $3.25 well drinks.

Edmonds

American Brewing, 180 W. Dayton
Special hours for the Seahawk game: 1-10 p.m. Live music after the game featuring Steve Stephanowicz, 6-8 pm, acoustic rock and blues

A Very Taki Tiki Bar & Grill – 518 Main St., Edmonds
Enjoy beer, shots, and sports pitcher specials while viewing the game on 13 screens at this Hawaiian-themed sports bar.

Engel’s Pub – 113 5th Ave. S.
Enjoy happy hour prices all day.

Gallagher’s Where-U-Brew – 180 W. Dayton St. Suite #105
There won’t be special prices, but they do have their new Fallout IPA on tap.

ChurchKey Pub – 109 4th Ave. N.
This brand new pub won’t have any specials, but you can try their new bratwurst and pretzel that were just added to their menu this week during the game, or come by afterwards for their happy hour starting at 4 p.m.

MVP’s – 22921 Hwy 99
With couches to lounge on and 16 televisions showing the Hawks, you’ll be comfortable and be able to see at this local sports haven. During commercials, there will also be an ongoing charity raffle event hosted by Mike Brown, where the commercials will be muted and items will be raffled off. Food and drink specials will also be available.

Mountlake Terrace

Mountlake Terrace Senior Center at Ballinger Park – 23000 Lakeview Drive
The Senior Center is hosting a viewing party this Saturday at 1 p.m. in its new Ballinger Park Clubhouse location. There will be a tailgate buffet, halftime entertainment and a “wear your colors” Seahawk outfit contest, and three TVs showing the game. Admission for the event is $10. Beverages, including beer and wine, will also be available for purchase.

The Getaway Tavern – 24309 56th Ave W, Mountlake Terrace
They will have the following specials during the game: mini-nachos for $3, a “Beast Mode” bloody mary for $6.50, or your choice of green (apple) or blue (raspberry) Hawkbomb for $6, which is the flavored vodka with Red Bull.
