Lynnwood City Council to hold public hearing on Sound Transit ordinance at April 8 meeting


The Lynnwood City Council will hold a public hearing at its business meeting on Monday, April 8, on a draft ordinance approving a development agreement between the city and Sound Transit.

The ordinance was discussed at the April 1 work session meeting and is the next step in the process of the Lynnwood Link Light Rail Extension. The city council will include public testimony as part of the record prior to voting on the ordinance.

The council is also scheduled to vote on an ordinance amending the city’s 2019 Salary Schedule by approving the addition of an entry-level legal specialist to the city’s municipal court.

In addition, the city council will issue four city-wide proclamations:

  • April 7-13 National Volunteer Week
  • April 25-28 National Stand Against Racism Week
  • April 16 National Education and Sharing Day
  • Arbor Day
