Lynnwood City Council to hold Public Hearing on Transportation Improvement Plan at Monday’s meeting

The Lynnwood City Council will be holding a Public Hearing on the City’s Six-year Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) at Monday’s meeting.

The proposed TIP covers the years 2016-2021 and the projects listed in the TIP are derived from goals and policies in the City’s Comprehensive Plan and by expected available funding. Having an adopted Six-Year TIP allows the City to compete for federal and state grants. Read more about the TIP here.

The City Council is expected to act upon the proposed TIP later in the meeting, following the Public Hearing. The Council also is scheduled to consider funding for the design phase for the 60th Avenue West Utility Replacement project and the second phase of design for the Ash Way and Maple Road Intersection Improvement project.

The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at the Lynnwood Civic Center, Council Chambers, 19100 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood.
