A longtime Lynnwood couple is celebrating an incredible 60 years of marriage on Sept. 4.

Eddie and Margaret Donnor have lived in Lynnwood for 50 years. Each of their four children graduated from Lynnwood High School.

Both are retired and spend much of their free time working in their garden. Although, as their daughter Gina told us, “when the mood hits, they will go out for a game of bingo or head to the casino for a bit of gambling.”

Margaret worked at Pie Pantry in Alderwood Mall, then later at Mervyn’s.

Eddie worked as a maitre d’ at a restaurant in downtown Seattle before starting a new career as a Realtor around 1976.
