The General MacArthur Award will be presented to local artist Michael Reagan by the Lynnwood Elks Lodge #2171 on Saturday.

Reagan has been creating  portraits of fallen heroes from around the world and presenting them to their families for many years. Eleven years ago he fully committed himself (and his wife Cheryl) to this honorable endeavor and spends most all his days and evenings fulfilling requests he receives.

At about 7:30 p.m. following dinner and presentations of Lodge awards, Reagan will relate how and why he brings peace and joy to so many families and comrades of these brave and honorable men and women.
