Update: One man dead after fight at Lynnwood apartment

4:15 p.m. Update: The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s office has completed the autopsy but is withholding cause and manner of death until positive I.D. is made and his family is notified.

3 p.m. Update: The Lynnwood Police citizen’s patrol played a big role in the arrest of the three suspects in last night’s homicide.

“They were on the perimieter at the very exterior of the scene when the suspects drove up,” Lynnwood Police Commander Jim Nelson told us. He said the volunteers notified a nearby officer, who made contact with the suspects. Three of them were arrested. No word yet which ones will be charged.

We just checked, and the medical examiner has not yet released the cause of death or the victim’s identity.
