Lynnwood freshman Malia Pivec finished 30th at the 4A state girls cross country championships Saturday at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.
Pivec finished the 5,000-meter course in 19 minutes 7.7 seconds. Older sister Mikayla Pivec, a sophomore, took 46th place with a time of 19:22.
In the 3A boys race, Meadowdale junior Dominic Giordano was 87th with a time of 17:09.
