The girls on the Lynnwood High School robotics team recently competed with 37 other teams in Girls Generation — an event encouraging girls to explore STEM and take leadership roles.
The girls played the same robotics game that the school’s FIRST Robotics team played in 2019. The six girls, after 64 qualifying matches, were ranked 11th. They were selected by the third-ranked team from Jackson High School, Jack-in-the-Bot, to be part of their three-team alliance. This alliance won the quarter finals, semifinals and finals to become the tournament winners.
