Lynnwood Library Gallery presents Acrylic Artist Brad Bacon

The Lynnwood Arts Commission presents Washington-born artist Brad Bacon at the Lynnwood Library Gallery through April 3.

This colorful exhibit is comprised of Brad’s explorations into the three dimensional aspects of acrylic painting where he uses abstraction and imagination incorporating shapes, colors, textures and moods. He manipulates them onto the surface over and over again which can take days or even years with some pieces.

Bacon’s lifelong mission to experience as many cultures and religions as possible is reflected throughout his work. Brad’s paintings are living creatures to him, very much like his own children. He feels they never stop growing under his influence until they mature, creating windows into the subconscious mind of the viewer.

Admission is free.

The Lynnwood Library Gallery showcases local and regional artists on both the amateur and professional level.

Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday from 10 am – 9 pm, Friday from 10 am – 6 pm, Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday 1 pm – 5 pm. The Library is closed on national holidays.
