Lynnwood Library programs for Oct. 23-24

Lynnwood Coupon Exchange Club will have its monthly meeting at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the Lynnwood Library.

Come exchange your unneeded coupons and meet other savvy savers. You may even learn a few more couponing tips along the way.

SCORE, Counselors to America’s Small Business, will meet with individuals starting at noon, Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Lynnwood Library.

Please sign up in advance for your one-hour appointment at the Lynnwood Library information desk. Counseling sessions are free of charge. SCORE provides experienced experts who can give general business advice about starting and running a small business. This program is presented in partnership with Seattle SCORE Chapter 55.

The Lynnwood Library LEGO Club meets at 4 p.m, Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Lynnwood Library.

Children and families are encouraged to attend. Build your own creations with LEGO. Every month will feature a different theme to spark your creative ideas. Projects will be on display for one week following the program.

Green Thumbs Book Group will be discussing “Farm City: The Education of an Urban Farmer” at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Lynnwood Library.

The memoir, by Novella Carpenter, is a “charming memoir, full of hilarious moments, fascinating farmer’s tips, and a great deal of heart. ‘Farm City’ offers a beautiful meditation on what we give up to live the way we do today.” (from the publisher).

Newcomers are welcome to attend.
