Family Trivia Night: Prove You Have What It Takes to Win
Thursday, April 25, 6:30 – 8 p.m.
19200 44th Ave. W.
There are many events for families in and around Lynnwood, but few are as fun, dynamic, or children-friendly as those hosted by public libraries.
And the Lynnwood Library is full of them, including a free family trivia night, coming up on April 25th, at 6:30 p.m.
Because it’s intended to be family-friendly, questions and answers are kept with children in mind. Anyone ages 7 and up is welcome to participate, but teams have to consist of at least one adult/teen and one child.
If participants want to join another team upon arrival, that’s an option as well, as the largest teams are made up of six people. Family friends are also welcome to join the fun.
Each team will work together to come up with the answers to multiple questions over the span of an hour and a half.
The event is free, and no reservation is required to attend. For more information, please visit the event page.

Prep For Spring With the Alderwood Garden Club Plant Sale
Sat. April 27, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Cedar Valley Grange
20526 52nd Ave. W.
Spring is right around the corner, and it’s time to repot plants for the season, gather up seeds, and purchase new plants to liven up the living space.
Luckily, the Alderwood Garden Club, a club for plant lovers to mingle, talk horticulture, and share tips and tricks, is hosting their main, annual fundraiser, known as the Spring Plant Sale.
Proceeds from the event help fund financial aid for a horticulture student through the Edmonds Community College Foundation. It also helps to pay for community gardening projects and Alderwood Garden Club activities, including speaker events and business meetings.
Vegetable plants, annuals, houseplants, perennials and shrubs will all be available to purchase. There will even be garden-inspired artwork, and garden props to pick up.
The Spring Plant Sale will be held at Cedar Valley Grange starting at 9 a.m. Cash, Visa and Master Cards are accepted. Entrance to the event is free, and all plants are offered at low cost.
