A Lynnwood man who robbed a Westlake Center jewelry store, then shot the doorman from a nearby hotel who chased him, was sentenced to 41 years in prison.
Our news partner, the Seattle Times, reports that Edmond Maynor, 36, of Lynnwood, was convicted by a King County Superior Court jury in June of one count of first-degree robbery, one count of second-degree assault and two counts of first-degree assault.
Because each of the crimes was committed with the aid of a handgun, a mandatory five-year additional sentence was added for each offense, according to prosecutors.
