Lynnwood Mayor Don Gough was the featured speaker Monday at Edmonds Community College, part of the school's focus on civics week. The goal was to encourage young adults to vote and become aware of political issues. Among the qualities Gough listed as important to be mayor: "a sense of humor and a thick skin."

  1. hmmm i wonder if he talked about getting into the city getting into major debt problems— not letting citizens talk freely at council meetings – about having the city pay almost $50K because he ‘allegedly’ harassed his assistant – about the fact that many council members do not have ‘trust’ in him to lead lynnwood with financial integrity – about the citizens having to pay more taxes because he seemingly did not have any fiscal knowledge of keeping the city in the black? IMHO
