Lynnwood Mayor Don Gough will speak and field questions during a presentation Monday, April 15, in the Black Box Theatre at Edmonds Community College.
The event, from 12:30-1:30 p.m., is free and open to the public.
Gough’s presentation is titled “How Local Government is Designed to Work or Sometimes Not to Work.”
Among Gough’s topics: the inner working of city government, the importance of citizen involvement, how citizens can get involved, how he became interested/involved in politics and government, and recent or planned programs at the City of Lynnwood.

Gough’s appearance is part of Edmonds Communit College Civics Week, which encourages young adults to vote, become aware of political issues, and become engaged citizens.
