Susan Sellers, a teacher at Lynnwood Elementary School, was honored in Washington, D.C. at the National Education Association Foundation Salute to Excellence in Education Gala. She is the Washington State nominee for the NEA Foundation award.

Meadowdale teacher named to National Science Committee

Mary Glodowski of Meadowdale High School has accepted a three-year appointment to the National Science Teachers Association Committee for High School Science Teaching. The ongoing work of the committee is currently focused on the impacts, implementations and best practices associated with the Next Generation Science Standards. Glodowski is a National Board Certified Teacher, and is a recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching.
