Lynnwood Police blotter


The following are selected incidents from the Lynnwood Police blotter.

Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace Police worked together to arrest a suspected hit-and-run driver on Aug. 18.

At 3:48 a.m., Lynnwood Patrol Officers responded to a hit and run where a suspected drunk driving suspect struck four vehicles. Police soon located the suspect vehicle and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit entered Mountlake Terrace at 212th Street SW and 212th Place West.

A Mountlake Terrace Patrol Officer assisted the lone Lynnwood Patrol Officer at the 21400 block of 60th Avenue West to the 21700 block of 60th Avenue West until a second Lynnwood Patrol Officer arrived. The pursuit ended in the Lakeside Apartments where the driver of the fleeing vehicle stopped and was taken into custody. No damage occurred in Mountlake Terrace.

Aug. 13

18200 block of 60th Ave. W. Found property. A wallet was found.

16900 block of 48th Ave. W. Burglary. Tools were stolen from a business.

5800 block of 207th Pl. SW. Burglary. Three iPods and a Kindle were stolen from a residence.

14800 block of 52nd Ave. W. Found property. Keys were found.

18900 block of 44th Ave. W. Theft. Police arrested a man, who stole tools from a vehicle.

19400 block of 44th Ave. W. Found property. A letter was returned to its owners.

Aug. 14

19800 block of 50th Ave. W. Warrant Service. A 53-year-old man was arrested on a felony warrant.

20000 block of 44th Ave. W. DUI. A 19-year-old man was arrested for DUI and making false statements.

Aug. 17

18000 block of Olympic View Dr. Animal. An animal was impounded.

19500 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. Theft. An iPhone was stolen.

Aug. 18

5400 block of 170th Pl. SW. Abandoned vehicle. An abandoned vehicle was impounded.

Aug. 20

7100 block of 191st. Pl. SW. Assault. A 55-year-old man was arrested for assault/domestic violence.
