The following are selected incidents from the Lynnwood Police blotter.
July 5
6500 block of 208th St. SW. Burglary. A resident reported the theft of a laptop, two tablets, digital camera, computer and electronic games.
18300 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. Theft. A 31-year-old man was arrested for felony theft, felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of stolen property.
July 6
19700 block of 44th Ave. W. Burglary. A business reported that $20,000 in jewelry was stolen,
July 7
20000 block of 61st Pl. SW. Assault. A woman pushed another woman down some stairs.
July 8
18100 block of 52nd Ave. W. Assault. A woman allegedly assaulted a man and woman.
6500 block of 208th St. SW. Theft A woman claimed that a male friend stole her ring.
18100 block of 36th Ave. W. Theft auto. A 1995 car was reported stolen.
19600 block of 68th Ave. W. Liquor. An 18-year-old man was arrested for possession of liquor.
July 9
19600 block of Highway 99. Accident. A hit and run driver was arrested after a traffic accident.
16800 block of Highway 99. Found property. A man found and turned in a hatchet.
July 10
17400 block of Highway 99. Animal. A barking dog complaint was investigated.
17500 block of Highway 99. Found property. A damaged safe was found.
17400 block of 33rd Pl. W. Fire assistance. A motorhome caught fire.
6800 block of 190th St. SW. Burglary. Someone attempted to gain entry into a garage by prying open the door. It did not appear that entry was made.
July 11
5300 block of 200th St. SW. Property. A bicycle was found.
3500 block of 184th St. SW. Vehicle recovery. A stolen vehicle out of Seattle was recovered.
7600 block of 199th St. SW. Theft. An American flag and holder were stolen from a porch.
7300 block of 196th St. SW. Malicious mischief. Damage to a sidewalk in front of a business was reported.
I heard a loud exsplotion at 236 am Friday. Am I the only one??
Lynnwood Police have no record of any incident regarding an explosion on Thursday or Friday early morning.
