Lynnwood Police Blotter

The following are selected incidents from the Lynnwood Police blotter.

Sept. 20

17500 block of Highway 99. Weapon. Two 16-year-old boys were arrested. One was arrested for possession of a dangerous weapon and the other for minor exhibiting the effects of alcohol.

19700 block of Highway 99. Theft. A 17-year-old boy was arrested for shoplifting and possession of marijuana. Another 17-year-old was arrested for shoplifting. A third individual, also 17, was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and a truancy warrant.

Sept. 21

19700 block of Highway 99. Shoplifting. Two bottles of alcohol valued at $44.97 were reported stolen.

18700 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. Theft. Three packages of socks valued at $57.98 were reported stolen.

Sept. 22

4700 block of 200th St. SW. A 29-year-old woman was arrested for assaulting her husband.

Sept. 24

17100 block of 36th Ave. W. DUI. A man was arrested for DUI and possession of controlled substances.

3600 block of 166th Pl. SW. Vehicle recovery. A vehicle stolen out of Seattle was recovered.

220th and Interstate 5. Found property. A black wallet was found with papers and identification.

Sept. 25

5200 block of 196th St. SW. Accident. A hit-and-run accident was reported.

17600 block of Olympic View Dr. Animal. A lost dog was taken to PAWS.

5500 block of 191st SW. Animal. An infraction for two dogs running at large was issued.

20000 block of 68th Ave. W. Theft. A bicycle was reported stolen.

Sept. 26

18500 block of 33rd Ave. W. Theft. A man talked a woman into depositing checks into her account and giving him the cash. He said he would pay her for doing this. A few days later the checks showed up to be from a closed account.
