Dec. 10

18600 block of 36th Avenue West: A woman reported that both of her license plates were stolen.

19900 block of Highway 99: A man and a woman reported a vehicle prowl. They saw a man stand between their two parked vehicles at night. When they checked their cars the next morning, they discovered a driver door lock was punched out and someone had gone through their van.

3700 block of 196th Street Southwest: A woman discovered in the morning that her car doors and hood were open. She was also missing her rachet set, snowboard and car battery.

7300 block of Olympic View Drive: A couple of swastikas along with hateful wording was graffitied in the skating area of Lyndale Park.

19500 block of Highway 99: An unknown suspect stole a blanket valued at $19.99 from CVS.

Dec. 11

20000 block of 44th Avenue West: A man drove his car into a building and attempted to leave on foot.

19300 block of 44thAvenue West: A student at Meadowdale High School reported that her wallet and keyring was stolen when she left her tote bag outside of the school’s gymnasium.

20700 block of Highway 99: A woman was booked for third-degree theft, possession of a dangerous weapon and obstructing and possessing drug paraphernalia after she shoplifted from Walgreens.

19800 block of Highway 99: A man’s keys were stolen from inside his shoe while he was playing basketball at LA Fitness.

20700 block of Highway 99: A man was seen concealing $61.55 worth of merchandise from Walgreens. He was transported to the Lynnwood Jail, where he was booked and released for third-degree theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dec. 12

3000 block of 184th Street Southwest: Two women were taken into custody and transported to the Lynnwood Jail for third-degree theft after being caught stealing clothing from J.C. Penney.

17400 block of 62nd Avenue West: A woman reported that her son’s friend stole her vehicle.

3400 block of 174th Place Southwest: Police responded to a home burglary. A resident of the home was sleeping when he heard pounding at the front door. He awoke and saw two men in his house and a minivan across his street. The resident hid in the closet and called 9-1-1 while the two men stole his flat screen TV.

Dec. 13

2200 block of 196thStreet Southwest: Police responded to a reported burglary at Enterprise Rental. The door of the business had been pried open and the door frame was broken and lying on the floor, although nothing appeared to be missing.

18600 block of 33rdAvenue West: A cash register employee at J.C. Penney was caught redeeming numerous gift cards. She admitted to loading gift cards fraudulently and was arrested for second-degree theft.

18800 block of 44thAvenue West: A woman was arrested for fourth-degree assault after punching a man. The man had cut her off on the road and when stopped at a red light she got out of her car, banged on his door and punched him in the face once he got out.

16600 block of Highway 99: A man was issued a criminal citation for third-degree theft and booked into the Lynnwood Jail for stealing two 18-pack cases of Budweiser beer from Arco.

Dec. 14

20000 block of 68thAvenue West: A man came to the Lynnwood Police Station to report that his wallet was stolen while it was in a locker at Seaview Gym. He discovered his credit card had been used at various locations.

18500 block of 33rd Avenue West: Police detained a man who was seen concealing merchandise from Ross. He had multiple misdemeanor warrants and was issued a criminal citation for third-degree theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

20000 block of Highway 99: A woman was cited for third-degree theft after being seen concealing merchandise in her purse from Walgreens. She was additionally cited with possession of a legend drug without a prescription and was booked into the Lynnwood Jail.

Dec. 15

4800 block of 200th Street Southwest: A van was stolen. It had two ladders on top and $1,920 worth of various painting supplies inside.

20000 block of Highway 99: Police ran a random and routine plate check and discovered a vehicle whose registered owner had warrants. The car was pulled over and the police officer discovered the driver was breaking his no contact/protection order with a female who was in the passenger seat. He was issued a criminal citation.

3700 block of 196th Street Southwest: A mother reported that her  son was striking her head with his cell phone. He was placed into custody for assault and transported to Denny Youth Center.

6000 block of 202nd Street Southwest: A man was arrested for fourth-degree assault and booked into the Lynnwood Jail after punching his neighbor.

18200 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway: Police responded to a nuisance call at Plato’s Closet. A woman was inside the store for an hour being rude to employees. Police took her outside and discovered she had four misdemeanor warrants. She was found with drug paraphernalia and was booked on her warrants.

Dec. 16

4600 block of 196th Street Southwest: A man who was trespassed from Fred Meyer in November, was seen standing in front of the store. He was arrested and booked into the Lynwood Jail for second-degree criminal trespass.

18000 block of 40th Avenue West: An unknown suspect stole the rear license plate of a parked vehicle.

17000 block of Ash Way: A man was arrested for physical control of a vehicle while under the influence. He was seen acting drunk, buying a beer and returning to his vehicle.

3000 block of 184th Street Southwest: An employee at Alderwood Mall reported that his vehicle was stolen, and that it had a handgun inside.

18900 block of 28th Avenue West: A man’s passenger-side front window had been smashed and two boxes full of clothing, books and wires were stolen.
