A vehicle prowl was reported in the 18100 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. A bag full of clothes, worth about $150, was stolen. The door had apparently been pried open.

A theft was reported in the 19800 block of 40th Avenue West. $770 worth of merchandise was stolen. Surveillance video showing three suspects, a woman and two men, was available and turned over to evidence.

May 26
A man was arrested for DUI in the 4300 block of 164th Street Southwest. He failed several field sobriety tests, but blew a 0.000 on a breath test. He said he had smoked marijuana about three hours prior. He later said he also took Tramadol a few hours earlier. He was transported to the Lynnwood Jail.

A robbery was reported in the 20300 block of 68th Avenue West. The victim said the suspects broke his iPhone, worth about $500, and took $38 cash.

May 27
Lynnwood officers responded to a silent alarm at a business in the 6200 block of 202nd Street Southwest. Two suspects, who have been contacted several times in the past month, we’re located inside and a window was broken out. Drugs were found in their backpack, along with credit cards that did not belong to them. Both suspects were transported to the Lynnwood Jail.

A vehicle theft was reported in the 4700 block of 200th Street Southwest.

A theft was reported in the 7500 block of 196th Street Southwest. About $400 worth of copper wire was stolen.

A vehicle theft was reported in the 17500 block of Highway 99.

May 28
An abandoned vehicle was towed from the 5700 block of 204th Street Southwest.

A Lynnwood Police K-9 assisted Everett Police with the identification of a suspect in an assault with a deadly weapon case, in the 3000 block of Broadway. The victim was reportedly uncooperative and both confirmed and denied that a detained man had assaulted him. The dog was unable to confirm that the detained man was the suspect.

A domestic dispute was reported in the 20000 block of 66th Place West.

May 29
A car stolen on May 27 was located at the Alderwood Mall and recovered.

A wallet was stolen from the pool area of the Lynnwood Recreation Center. The victim said his phone and wallet were inside the pocket of his sweatpants lying next to the pool. His pants and phone were there, but his wallet was missing.

A domestic assault was reported in the 19700 block of 48th Avenue West.

May 30
A domestic dispute was reported near the intersection of 52nd Avenue West and 196th Street Southwest.

An abandoned vehicle marked on May 16 was towed. It had not moved. A notice of impound was sent to the registered owner.

A car prowl was reported in the 19800 block of Highway 99. A Coach purse, $50 cash, a debit card, driver’s license and other items were stolen. One window was broken.

A shoplifter was reported in the 18600 block of 33rd Avenue West. The suspect had been booked for shoplifting at a different store recently. Several items of clothing were stolen and recovered. The suspect is a juvenile, so he was released to his sister with his mother’s permission.

May 31
A stray dog was found in the 18300 block of 36th Avenue West. It was brought to the Lynnwood Police station and secured in the station’s temporary kennel until the owners were contacted. The dog lives in the city limits but was not licensed with the city. The dog was returned to its owners, along with instructions on how to license the dog in the city.

An employee at McDonald’s, located in the 2600 block of 196th Street Southwest, reported a man stole a donation jar off of the counter containing money destined for the Ronald McDonald House. Surveillance video shows the suspect leaning on the counter and eventually snatching the jar and running out the door. It is unclear how much money was inside the jar, or if the man knew an employee.

An attempted assault by an intoxicated man was reported in the 4600 block of 200th Street Southwest. The suspect pulled a knife on the responding officer. He was arrested for two counts of threats to kill — one for the officer and once for the initial victim.

A found wallet was turned into the Lynnwood Police Department. It contained a California license, social security card and $40 cash.

June 1
A man was arrested for DUI in the 4000 block of 196th Street Southwest. The vehicle was pulled over after swerving in and out of lanes and failing to signal. The man declined to take any field sobriety tests or breath test and was transported to the Lynnwood jail.

A vehicle prowl was reported in the 6600 block of 200th Street Southwest. An empty purse was stolen.

A theft was reported in the 18600 block of 33rd Avenue West.

A vehicle prowl was reported in the 18900 block of 44th Avenue West. A rear window was busted out of a vehicle and a backpack containing a laptop was taken from inside.

A domestic assault was reported in the 6700 block of Penny Lane.
