Lynnwood police dog Zando retiring after eight years of service

After eight years of servicing the community, a very good boy has earned his retirement.

The Lynnwood Police Department announced via Twitter that one of its K-9 dogs, Zando, is retiring. Throughout his career, Zando and his handler Sgt. Joseph Dickinson had 608 deployments and 206 apprehensions, and located 106 pieces of evidence.

Zando will spend his retirement with the Dickinson family.

Fun fact about Zando: He was late to his own retirement party after being diverted for a burglary suspect — which he located!
