Lynnwood Police are investigating a suspicious death that occurred in the early morning hours today, March 28, at a hotel in the 3000 block of 196th Street Southwest in Lynnwood.
Just before 6 a.m. a jogger, who was staying at the hotel, found a woman lying on the sidewalk outside the hotel with significant signs of trauma.
The first call to 911 reported that the woman had been shot, however, first-in police and medical crews on the scene didn’t find anything consistent with that report.
While Lynnwood Police are still actively investigating, it appears the woman, who is a 43-year-old from Brier, came out of the top floor (fourth floor) window. The nature of why or how she went out the window is still under investigation.
