Last year Lynnwood police officers made more DUI arrests than any other city in Snohomish County.
That’s one reason why the county’s DUI task force recently recognized several of Lynnwood’s officers.
Among the recipients were Sgt. Wayne Davis and Officer Mark Brinkman for “Traffic Safety Innovation and Dedication.” Officers Chris Breault and Dennis Malloy received the “Leaders in Law Enforcement” award. And the Lynnwood Police Explorers were honored for “Youth Traffic Safety.”
“The county’s DUI and Target Zero Traffic Safety Task Force is known for its work in reducing the number of traffic collisions involving impaired drivers, so any honor they bestow is well deserved,” said Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon. “I am proud of the women and men who make it part of their daily duty to keep our roads safe.”
