Lynnwood Police are searching for three suspects in an attempted armed robbery on Monday afternoon.
Lynnwood Police Sgt. Sean Doty said the call came in just after 12:45 p.m. on Monday. The victim, a man in his 20s, was walking to work in the 20900 block of 60th Avenue West when he was confronted by three suspects. They demanded his iPhone and hat, but the victim did not give them up. The victim sustained a cut to the hand, but he did not see what the item was that cut him.
All three suspects fled in a 1997-1999 model black Audi A4. No license plate information has been obtained.
The suspects are described as a white man in his late teens to early 20s, wearing a black hat, black hooded sweatshirt and possibly black jeans; a Hispanic man in the same age range with glasses and a small mustache; and another Hispanic man in the same age range wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
If you see the suspects or the Audi, you are asked to contact the Lynnwood Police Department or call 9-1-1.
