Lynnwood Police seeking public's help in identifying robbery suspect

Wells fargo bank robber 2 April 2013The Lynnwood Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a Wells Fargo Bank robbery that occurred just before 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 9, in the 6400 block of 196th in Lynnwood.

No one was hurt after the man walked into the bank, displayed a gun and presented a note demanding money. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 40s or early 50s. He is about 6-foot-2l, approximately 180 pounds. The suspect was wearing black sun glasses, a tan driving cap, and a black vest with a long sleeve black shirt.

Lynnwood Police Detectives are working with the FBI and other agencies to see if this robbery is connected to any others in the region.
