Lynnwood Royal Robotics team advances to District championship

The Lynnwood High School robotics team, 2522 Royal Robotics, finished 6th out of 38 teams at the Glacier Peak Robotics Competition last weekend. A new student design for holding hatch panels vastly increased performance.

Competing with 19 students, the team set a new world record for the highest score without a penalty. The team also again won the Autonomous Programming Award. The Royals qualified for the Pacific Northwest District Championship to be held April 3-6 in Tacoma.

The event is free and open to the public. Matches are Friday and Saturday. For more info, email Brad Nelson at [email protected]
