Beth Knutsen, a Spanish teacher at Lynnwood High, has been named the Alderwood-Terrace Educator of the Month for April.

She has served at Lynnwood High for the past two years and is loved by her students. “I found her to be an excellent teacher who had a mastery of subject material and an excellent way of motivating students,” Principal David Golden said. “She is a thoughtful person who manages to convey her deep desire for students to understand the culture of Spanish speaking countries and the excitement of learning a foreign language.”
