Lynnwood University is back. For the 8th year in a row, Lynnwood residents are offered the opportunity to attend the award-winning (and free) 9-week program.
Students will learn about every phase of city government and operations through demonstrations, tours and hands-on activities conducted by city staff, City Council members and the Mayor.
Among the highlights, students will try on firefighting gear and watch the jaws-of-life in action, learn how to solve a criminal case and come face-to-face with a police K-9, and tour city parks.
Classes meet from 7– 9:30pm each Thursday from Sept. 9 – Nov. 4, 2010. Spaces fill up quickly. The deadline to sign up is Aug. 30, 2010.
Registration forms are available online.
