Lynnwood’s Caparas finishes fifth at Class 4A state boys golf championships

Lynnwood’s Rudy Caparas finished in fifth place overall at the Class 4A state boys golf championships Wednesday at the Camas Meadows Golf Course.

Caparas, who was in a five-way tie for first after the first round of the tournament, shot an 8-over-par 80 on the final day to finish with a two-day total of 150. Brian Humphreys of Camas won the tournament, shooting a 74 on the final day for a two-day score of 144. Eastlake’s Li Wang was second with a score of 146.
