After a few initial hitches, Lynnwood’s new (and only) indoor flea market opens today. City Marketplace is located at 172nd Street SW and Highway 99 (right next to the St. Vincent de Paul and Value Village thrift stores — a perfect trifecta for bargain shoppers!)
Owner Jim Boltz worked with the city of Lynnwood to lower business license fees for vendors. Daily licenses now cost $10 and weekend licenses are $16.
Boltz also has spent the past few months renovating the sprawling building, which used to house Cycle Barn’s second location.
We’ll post photos of the grand opening later today.
