Man injures himself during altercation in Lynnwood

my newsA 26 year-old Lynnwood man injured himself when he broke out a window at house in the 19300 block of Locust Way during an altercation Tuesday afternoon.

The incident started around 12:45 p.m. when the man arrived at the house, where he previously had been a resident, to collect his belongings. Another resident of the home has a protection order against the man. At some point, the man threw a large rock through the windshield of a truck parked at the house and then broke the window of the home. A third person at the residence fired shots out a window, but did not strike the suspect.

The injured suspect was transported to Swedish Medical Center in Edmonds for treatment. He will be booked on violation of a protection order, residential burglary, and malicious mischief.
