Have you ever wondered who owned your property 100 years ago? You can find out tomorrow.
The Alderwood Manor Heritage Association will be hosting mapping event where you can look at Snohomish County maps from 1910, 1927, 1934, 1940, 1952 and 1975. It takes place Saturday, May 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Heritage Cottage (19903 Poplar Way).
They’ll also be opening their newest exhibit, “Early Pioneer Landowners of Southwest Snohomish County.” Using the 1910 maps they’ll introduce you to early pioneers including families Hunter, Breed, Salty, McGhee, Lambe, Morrice, Burelson as well as Yost, Brady and Ballinger.
