The Snohomish County Parks Department is now offering open water swimming lessons for adults.
The five-week sessions are designed specifically for adults of all abilities, ranging from first time open water swimmers to those preparing for a triathlon.
“What makes this program unique is that we educate and improve your swimming ability via informative discussion, individualized coaching and effective and motivating workouts,” Recreation Supervisor Tony Trofimczuk wrote in an e-mail. “Our experienced coaching staff are geared up to help each individual reach personal goals.”
Space is limited to 14 people per session. An introductory lecture is scheduled for Tuesday, June 1 at Willis Tucker Community Park (6705 Puget Park Drive) from 7 – 8:30 p.m.
You can register for the lecture and the classes on Snohomish County’s website. The cost is $125 for the entire session.
