Meadowdale’s Ndey Sonko scored a game-high 17 points but didn’t get much help from her teammates as Glacier Peak blasted the Mavericks 66-37 in a Wesco 3A girls basketball game Saturday at Glacier Peak High School.
The Mavericks (1-2 in the league and 2-4 overall) fell behind 18-8 after the first quarter and trailed 35-18 at halftime. No other Meadowdale player scored more than four points.
Glacier Peak (2-0 and 6-0) was led by Taylor Baird, who had 15 points.
