Meadowdale High School to hold 2015 Baccalaureate service Sunday

Wyatt Martin

Meadowdale High School will be holding its 2015 Baccalaureate service for all graduating seniors and their family and friends this Sunday, June 7 at 2 p.m.

Wyatt Martin, youth pastor from Alderwood Community Church, will be the guest speaker. His brother-in-law is graduating from Meadowdale this year, so it makes it a special occasion for him to address this year’s graduating class.

Meadowdale students will be leading the rest of the service with some help from teachers. Musicians, singers, speakers and readers will have a role encouraging fellow students in this faith-based service.

“It’s always inspiring to see these student use their gifts to encourage the Meadowdale family,” said one of the event organizers, Neil Tibbott. “They have so much to offer when we take time to learn from them and their experience as young adults.”

Refreshments will follow the service with a reception for seniors.
