The Meadowdale High School Players are presenting “Our Town” by Thornton Wilder on two upcoming weekends — Dec. 5-7 and Dec. 12-14.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. each night in the high school’s Black Box Theater. Tickets are $7. You can also enjoy two special events prior to the Dec. 5 and Dec. 12 performances.
On Thursday, Dec. 5, everyone is invited to the opening night Producers Party from 5:30-7 p.m. in the MDHS Great Hall. Refreshments will be served and and all are encouraged to come, even if they aren’t going to “Our Town” that night. Glassy Babies, hand-blown glass votives made in Seattle, will be on sale for $50 with all proceeds going to high school’s ABC (Art Boosters Club). On Thursday, Dec. 12, there will be an Empty Soup Dinner at 5 p.m., also in the Great Hall. Donations accepted.
