Three people were injured and four schools were locked down after a shooting Tuesday afternoon in the Meadowdale area.
It happened during an argument outside an apartment at 56th and 168th about at 1 p.m. Police say there was an argument involving more than a dozen people. Someone left and returned with a shotgun. It discharged as others tried to wrestle the gun away, and a pellet or shrapnel hit two men and a woman. None of the injuries are life threatening.
A 43-year-old Lynnwood woman was arrested at the scene.
Police say it appears this has been an ongoing disagreement between a few people who live in the area.
As a precaution, nearby Meadowdale elementary, middle and high schools and Beverly Elementary were placed into lockdown between 1:20 – 1:40 p.m., delaying some school buses. No students were involved in the incident, according to school district officials.
168th was closed for about 30 minutes during the investigation.

Mike, have the police ever been called out for this “ongoing disagreement” before?
I’m not sure but I’ll see if I can find out.
