District officials have cancelled classes today at Meadowdale High School because of a threat made on the Internet.
Lynnwood police learned about the threat last evening.
“It presented specific threat against student safety,” said police spokesperson Shannon Sessions. They are still investigating if it is credible.
Families and staff received a voicemail about the closure early Friday morning.
“We take this information seriously, and will provide additional information as it is available,” said a notice on the school’s website.
