With 2014 changes in Medicare coming soon, it’s time to get ready for open enrollment.
Got questions about your benefits and enrollment? Join Jen Rosenbrook, Senior Services State Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) Coordinator, from 1 – 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30 for an information session at the Lynnwood Senior Center, 19000 44th Ave W.
Rosenbrook will be presenting information related Medicare and current changes to help you prepare for the Oct. 15 – Dec. 7 open enrollment period. Topics will include: Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Part D Drug Plans, Medigaps, and a brief review of the Affordable Health Care Act.
There will be time for questions and answers. This event is offered in partnership between the Lynnwood Senior Center and Senior Services of Snohomish County. The program is free; however, requires pre-registration. To register, call the Lynnwood Senior Center at 425-670-5050, or stop by in person at 19000 44th Ave West, Lynnwood.
