MOD Pizza opens this weekend

MOD Pizza has announced that their newest store – at Northpointe Center – will open this Saturday.

The concept is simple – thin crust, artisan-style pizza that is made-to-order and served quickly. The Lynnwood store is the company’s first expansion outside of Seattle and Bellevue.

“We are eager to serve this new market and to continue growing the MOD brand. We strongly believe there is a unique niche that we’re filling, and have been encouraged by our customer’s feedback and the comparison to brands such as Chipotle,” Co-founder Ally Svenson said.

You can choose from selections such as the Caspian (mozzarella, Gorgonzola, barbeque chicken, barbeque sauce, sliced red onions) and Lucy Sunshine (mozzarella, Parmesan, artichokes, garlic, with dollops of red sauce), or create your own pizza, choosing from more than 25 toppings.

Regardless of what toppings you choose, all pizzas are the same price ($6.88) and baked in 800 degree gas-fired display ovens while you wait. Salads, milkshakes, beer, wine, pizza knots, ice cream and old fashioned Ding Dongs round out the menu.

MOD also guarantees customer satisfaction. “In the spirit of Seattle-style customer service, we make a promise and commitment to treat both our employees and customers right. If you aren’t happy with your pizza or our service, we’ll make you a new one on the house.  It’s that simple,” Operations Director Chris Schultz said.
