New art exhibition at EdCC

Edmonds CC logoA new art exhibition featuring the work of Korean adoptees raised in the Puget Sound area has been unveiled at the Edmonds Community College Art Gallery in Lynnwood Hall.

Interpolated Spheres will be on display through arch 12 and features works by Nari Baker, Darius Morrison, and Christina Seong.

The artists are Korean adoptees raised in the Puget Sound area. Each artist will deconstruct commonly held misconceptions about the Korean adoptee experience. Through mixed media works including audio technology, prints, collage, and found objects, these artists address themes of race, identity, and adoption.

The exhibition was curated by Minh Carrico:  artist, gallery owner, and Edmonds CC visual arts instructor

A meet the artists will be from 4:30-6:30 p.m on March 1.
